    Its not how much shot you throw at them it is where you put it that counts if ya spray and pray with a 3 1/2 its not going to help at all

    Had a old timer tell me in the 80s he was 100 yrs old and had market hunted as a kid more waterfowl has been killed by 2 3/4 12 gauge...

    I am 67 years old and have successfully hunted everything from Deer (with slugs), Turkeys, to Geese and Ducks and have never even fired...

    Pellet count is the key to killing with this stuff i read tss 18 in 410 kills turkeys to stupid distances like 80 yrds with 9's beretta...

    My dad said in the 60's you could find 20-25 coveys a day bet there is not 15 coveys in half of this county. There are no hedgerows left...

    The quail numbers are bad compared to the 70-80's we could walk a mile and find 5 coveys there is not five coveys in a 5 square mile...
