There is no doubt he is about 100 yards behind the deer when those were taken. Look at the last picture. You're telling me that he's holding the head of that deer up with his thumb? Doubt that. If he is, he's one strong midget. That's probably a big deer regardless but it's not nearly the size that they are trying to make it.

This was on the Boone and Crockett website under Tropy Watch. UPDATE: Scott Yetman was guiding for Diamond Willow Outfitters last fall, and was rewarded by being allowed to go on a hunt of his own. This giant buck was the result, and is reported to be Scott's first deer ever! Reports are that it will score approximately 190 as a typical, but it has not yet been officially entered.

I vote it's a fake. Notice how the antlers have shadows on them, but nothing else in the picture does

I vote it is real... even if the guy is a midget...I would have said it is easy to hold anythign that is dead up with one finger as rigor makes things stiff....but then I see he is HOLDING it up from the worng side!!!

unless his thumb is glued to the antler. they head should fall away from his hand and down to the ground!!!!

he cant hold it up from that side!! ha ha ha

unless it is frozen solid, which might be the case.

when i shot a huge dear years ago, I kept that baby hanging to show so long I lost the meat........

anyone that shots a dear like that will take a 100 pictures , and I bet youll have your eyes closed in a few!

that's what i was thinking.

Like bob johnson said, another thing that throws me off is the way he is holding it. Why doesn't he have a good grip on those things with his hands instead of that weak "thumbs up" rest thing he is doing?
