What are u guys using for gun oil/clp? I usually use break free clp on my shotguns and recently tried froglube on my pistols. A friend of mine was telling me he heard good things about M- pro 7 lpx gun oil. Anyone use this?

Got tired of clp gumming up in cold weather. Trying Ballistol.

FP-10 , but when the temps are below freezing, I apply it to the moving parts of the gun, let it sit for awhile, then use a soft cloth or swabs, and remove as much as I can, so the gun is run nearly "dry", but still has a very minor amount of lubricant, which is all you need.

    FP10 for lube
CLP is very good for dissolving rust
    Corrosion X for rust prevention

FP-10 for me as well! Been using it for over 20 years. Like PSD ( bang you're dead) said I also wrote most off to avoid attracting unburnt powder and other debris.

I also like FP-10, but my son Marc got me to try this stuff call Maxilube. http://www.maxilube.com/. I've used it all this year, and I'm really very pleased with how well it lubricates, and how long it lasts on the metal.

Is the Maxilube Premo the one you use?
