A few buddies and myself really got after the crows on Saturday. We hunted three stands, 2 in the morning, 1 in the evening. The two morning stands yielded 41 and 45, and the evening stand produced 126!!! :grvn:grvn We had 4 shooters in the morning, 3 in the evening. All of us were equipped with metro barrels.

We actually killed alot more than 126 on the evening stand, but due to darkness, we were unable to recover many of them. We were searching with flashlights and headlamps, and we didn't even bother going into the brush to collect the ones that fell there. We estimate 20 - 30 more were actually downed.

My question is, what the heck do you do with all those overgrown blackbirds? We constantly have them fly over while duck huntng, but have never poped any during the slow times.

You've got the art of crow hunting down to a fine science :bow. After a couple of kills I have to pick up my caller and change locations as they become very skiddish and unwilling to commit. :doh
