It is with heavy heart I am looking to part with this piece of history. This is a circa 1900 Hallock round tail gunning scooter used on the Great South Bay on Long Island. This rig is complete with sail, shovin oar, pike pole, oars w/oarlocks, and 6+/- traditional cork working stool. The rig was used pretty much exclusively at Pattersquash Gunners Association over its life. This is a working antique and is ready to go hunting. It has been stored inside for the past 25 years except during season. It is sound and still is grassed up. It can be seen at Patchogue Long Island, NY. I am not sure of the proper asking price except this is 100 years old and still in pristine condition. So I will start at $ 12,500 {MUST SELL ALL REASONABLE OFFERS CONSIDERED 4/12/17}. Please email me at rdbakjr505@yahoo.com with interest and for further information. I am looking for the right person who will use and maintain this piece of history.
    Thank you
