Mississippi River ice just removed my duckblind, so put the boat away probably for the season. My son suggested we do a coyote hunt yesterday afternoon, so I was happy to quit work early and give it a try. Sat up and ran the caller for about 5 minutes. Shut it off for 5 minutes. Tried again for a few minutes and shut it off. Turned it on once again and here comes this guy. He stopped about 150 yards out and "moused" for a minute, pouncing like he was on a trampoline, then got back on track toward the caller. Let my son take the shot at just under 100 yds. Pretty 33 lb male. Fun way to start off the season. Hope others are out and having a successful year.

    Good job!
I'd like to be able to take a shot at 100--150 yards around here. Farthest I've shot was about 60 and closest was less than 10.
