Looking for a choke tube for a Franchi Affinity 20ga. to shoot Federal Heavy Weight #7's thru.I saw some awsome patterns from a SSX tube on the " All about shooting" web site but they don't have one to fit a Franchi. Has anybody tried these shells?

Sorry powder keg meg - looks like TRUGLO only makes a 20 ga Strut Stopper Xtreme Turkey Choke Tube to fit Remingtons & Mossbergs...

    http://www.truglo.com/pc_product_de...CAB969&catid=6DBFFBDAB8164A5FAE81D33901F388F2

As for the Federal load - looks pretty devestating coming out of a .550 choke... I have a Briley Turkey Choke for my SBE II. I believe what fits Beneli's & Beretta's - fits Franchi's.

    Here's Briley's site:

    Good Luck! :tu

I personally wouldn't buy a thing from allaboutpooping website. snake oil salesman he is

I shoot IndianCreek in my 20ga's and have shot lots of the Fed HW7's
and killed them gobblers from 15-40 yards

at 40 yards, I average 150+ in the 10" circle for a 20, that makes me very happy.

    my tubes in my m2 20 is 562, remington 870 20 562 and Beretta 391 20 555

    Indian Creek .555 or a Sumtoy 562

With the Fed. Heavyweight #7's I would try the Sumtoy first. Guys are getting great #'s with this combo.

I am running the IC .555 with Nitro Hevi 6x7 out of my wife's Benelli M1 Super 90. Just ordered a Sumtoy yesterday to see how it does.

Just avoid a ported choke with those Flite Control shells.
Sumtoy chokes are very good and he can sure put you on what you need.

I've seen some ridiculously good patterns with a Carlson's .565 choke(and some from that very same gun/shell combo). You can get them off of eBay for $29 shipped.

I just ordered one for my Franchi 720 to try out this year.
