    Kimmie,
He had a blst at the two tower shoots we went to. On his first tower shoot this year he picked up 57 birds. Some were marked retrieves over 200 yards, some he had to move to keep from getting beaned by a falling bird. He slept real good after the first shoot.
The second shoot he only picked up 27 birds, only because there were not as many birds thrown.

Heres a "Happy Dog" photo from the second shoot

Hey tsmart! I'm sorry I didn't reply I hadn't looked back at the thread in a while  .

I was born and raised in Grayson County. Been stomping around Fancy Gap, Pipers Gap & the New River all my life. Probably spent more time in NC (mostly Mt. Airy) than in my hometown. Daddy actually farmed nearby to where I grew up in NC for a few years (dairy cows, cabbage, christmas trees).

Had a couple of offers to chase swan myself... Think I might put in for my tag this year. That'll be something different to jump into!

OK so they arent hunting:nutz But these gals will be hooked if they keep this activity up. These are a few pictures of the little gals helping the Utah Waterfowl Association, Division of Wildlife Resources and Delta Waterfowl Chapter band resident Canada geese and relocate them. All in all 2700+ geese were banded and took about 3 weeks. Should be plenty of bling for these gals to aim for in a few more years:tu
