Congratulations to the 2009 Island X New members of the King Eider Club Especially, Josh M AKA-Keller as he started our 09 season with a bang, he Got his pair opening day along with a harlequin and Oldsquaw, Joe H got a pair, Jake got a single opening day,,John from VA, took the daily High with a full house on day 2, not a bad start for the weather we are dealing with. The last 2 days have given us a new understanding of warm weather hunting in the Arctic, temperatures have been peaking at 34 to 40 degrees with light rain, fog and wind 15-30, E-Ne as of day 2 at 2pm we have 4 new members of the King Eider club for the 2009 season, The warm weather is not helping us at all but it has to get cold sometime. The birds are just happy to feed all day and not fly and the big groups that we are seeing are 2-5 miles offshore in no mans land. We are having lots of fun and picking away at them each day hunting as hard as we can hunt. Capt Moe, Dustin and myself wish you all good luck with the rest of your seasons and stay safe. I will be posting all new members on this thread along with a few daily highlight pics.
