Thanks for sharing. It's rare to see pictures from the field any more on here, so that was refreshing. Congrats on the first birds for the girl and the pup.
great pics looks like you had a good year all around
Congrats on a good season Jim. Glad to hear the pup is doing well for ya
how come all your ducks in all your pics are greeeeeezy stink bombs,,, nary a goodun to be found,,,, this very possibly might oughta be and might just could be and might just prolly be without a doubt or second thought,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,child abuse,, to knowingly make a child at such a young tender age be endoctrinated and subjected to the "Dark Side" of waterfowling is uncivilized and barbaric and abusive and i am sure there might just be a law or three agin sech things,, po child looks to you for guidance and you make her do this,,and what makes it even more worserer is you take pride and enjoyment in documenting the whole process with pics,,,,, po child hasn't a clue the vile and dark path she is being led down by such an evil evil satanic soul known as Dad,,,,, Lawd hep her tragic soul
Our girls are certainly growing up Jim.
Hopefully nothing came across as arrogant as I am far from a good trainer and she is far from winning any National Titles ( maybe next week ). I've only hunted over a few good duck dogs. One that sticks out in my mind is Kyle's dog, Dakota. I dont think I've ever seen her "take a break", shes always watching. I've worked with Holly all year but had no idea on how to have her "concentrate" or "look up", if you would, to notice where birds come from.
The first day in the dove field (private field, only a couple of hunters) she caught on. In the duck blind, same thing. Little things like that is what make me proud. It's in her DNA, it's just up to me to bring it out and not screw it up
12 going on 13 going on 30
Dad died in 2004 and its still hard to look at a photo of him /us.
Looking at my kids' photo's is the same.....where did the time go? Why am I so old now? Where did the "little" kids go and who the heck are these small adults with minds of their own ?
I always look forward to your year end pictures Jim.
I see a lot of divers in your pics. Is that one picture
of a scoter? I did good on divers also.
Yes we are all getting older.I really nice to see the young ones
out hunting.Amanda is going to be quit a huntress.Keep setting
a good example Jim.
Those labs are smarter then we think some times.
It hard to believe but my two grand kids are both 14.
Time goes by all to quickly.
Congrads on what looked like a very good season.
I believe ole Jimbob is waiting for some nice young lad to come along & show her the better side of waterfowling. After years of such abuse, it will be instant luv. Kinda makes ya feel sorry for Jim.
