    Thanks for sharing,

I remeber the 1st Time we banded Geese, after seeing how easily they were corralled, kind of lowered my opinion of my hunting ability, heck all you need is 4 panels of fence and 3 friends and you could get 30 to 40 at a time.

Great pics and season. Thanks for the compliment on Dakota. That all comes from her but it took time for her to figure it all out. I'm sure holly will get there.

The blind is in 6' of open water. Not typical puddle duck habitat. With that said, she had her fair share of chances at bluewings on the youth hunt. Oh Lord did she have some chances that day.

She's not allowed to date til she's 35.....unless the right young man comes along with 1,000 acres of prime duck property/habitat. If he comes along tomorrow, I'll set the wedding date for next weekend. :reader

Be proud of what u have accomplished, It takes alot to get them where they need to be. Look at me I have to pay someone lots of money to train my new pup because I just don't have it in me. I had to sit a amazing dog out most of the year to get little man some field time and forgot just how frustrating it is to teach a young dog the ropes. It is great though when it all clicks. Makes it all worth it. Speaking of that hydro goes back Saturday to the trainer to start work for his HRCH. Hopefully he gets to stay home for good after this round of titles.

Jim, always love to see your year end post....... I know we are both still not happy with Mother Nature for her timing over the end of December. Maybe sometime in the next two weeks we can get together and try and shoot a goose. I'll keep Ted away that day this time!
