Larry has been very sick fighting a bad cold or the flu. Let’s all wish him a get well soon!
Damn that sucks.. My wife and youngest daughter have had the flu for about 5 days now. I think the daughter is on the upswing, wife still feels like she’s been ran over by a truck. From what I’ve been hearing it’s a bad flu season.
Bird flu. Get your revenge. Ironic to Larry.
Sorry for the late reply: Dec. 27 and Jan. 13
Thank you, I hope you’re feeling better.
We need you out in the Marsh to help stir them up!
We had plenty of birds today in Sherburne. But everyone that hunted there today must’ve brought all their buddies .. the swamp was full of sky busters. Every time we had ducks working someone was shooting and messed us up. The son and I ended up with 2 woodies and 2 mallards. Thanks again for letting me know they were hunting north farm today Larry. The birds always fly good when they get stirred up over there.
Hunting has turned on in our neck of the woods. Saturday we had lots of easy bluewings early. A weird looking big duck flew by early and got shot for it. 2 greys came in just right and got touched with steel. The big duck ended up being a drake can. A couple of days ago we did well again. 16 ducks between 3 people. One being a banded hen mallard. Banded in Plumbas Manitoba in 2016.
Your post reminded me of a story my Dad told me about a Missouri hunt he went on in the early 60's. At that time Missouri wouldn't allow anything smaller that a #4 for duck hunting. Duck hunters being duck hunters they all were shooting #4 buck.
