Bottom fell out of the hunting in our marsh this morning. Most of us were lucky to have one mallard on our light straps. Seems to happen as often as not when a hard front hits, and the next few mornings will tell the tale.

What would you predict for the next few days?

A couple guys limited on BWT this morning within a 10 mile radius of Pecan Island food store.

I can say with great confidence that the birds are going to do what the birds are going to do.

But I'm hoping to see an influx of big ducks tomorrow...

We had one mallard yesterday and eleven mallards today. Tomorrow?

This morning we struggled: four drakes and a hen. Just not much that wanted to fight the wind down from altitude. 'Least not for what I was selling.
