Anybody have any info on this years juvie hatch ???
The waterfowl population report should be out any day now.
It looks good. Reports of a lot of juveniles. Not sure if this is just area specific or not though
Came out August 10th last year. Given the new way they set the seasons that may be when it comes out from here on out since they aren't in a rush to complete the reports.
Did you read a report somewhere? If so, would you mind sharing what you've read? A few years back there was an article from a Biologist in Texas that had participated in the snow goose research that summer. They had great insight before the actual report was released.
There is a very encouraging post on National Snow Goose Foundation Facebook page.....texts from biologist Rocky Rockwell, who is a guy that would know.
Coming from a page that is named to sucker people into it thinking it's a foundation like DU or Delta, but actually it's just another way for Scott Buttz to pimp all his guiding and products I think I'll wait until an actual report comes out. He literally says there's a good or average hatch almost every year. No guide is going to say it's a bad hatch
Yup, gadget salesman will report strong hatches every year. Pimp the latest and greatest gimmick with fall SK footage.
Any real data on this yet??
If that is what rocky said then it will be fact for he is the top guy to ask.
