My kid picked up a Savage model 10 in 223. Wondering what would be a good coyote round? Thanks
I like a 55 grs. SP or HP at 3200 fps.
I really like the 55 gr. v-max.
i agree. the 55gr v-max is awesome
Try a couple combos and see what the gun likes best. I use to have a 223 and it really liked the Sierria 53 gr match hollow point. The bullet worked well on fur as well.
Agree, great round and fast!
Another vote for the 55gr V-Max.
Hornady 55gr V-Max makes em take a dirt nap. Sub MOA groupings in my Savage model 10.
That twist rate should handle larger bullets but, try out Black Hills Blue Box 50grain V Max as they do a fine job on yotes.
For any of you guys that like the 55 gr v-max, you definitely have to try the53 gr v-max superformace from hornady. Faster velocity and hits harder than the 55's. Shoots amazing out of my bushy and savage.
