The starter motor on my Go devil wouldn't turn over the motor. I found the problem after pulling the flywheel. The rubber boot off the starter got behind the flywheel and broke loose 3 magnets on the inside of the flywheel. The motor will now start and run without the 3 magnets. Will this affect the the charging system? Also can the 3 magnets be replaced or can the flywheel be rebuilt?

I'd call Warren Coco at Go Devil----he'll know.

If it still runs normally, then the magnets are part of the charging system and not the ignition system. Put a voltmeter on the battery cables with the engine running; that will tell you if it's charging....but I'd bet money it isn't and that it's time for a new flywheel.
