I am a .2506 man at heart , but kill more deer with a 3030 marlin and a .22250 than any other guns i own or have owned, if i did not hunt tahr in the southern alps i would not use the 7mm rem mag that much either.

Used to have several 25-06s. One I wish I had kept. There's just not enough gap between it an my 6mm and 7mm rifles, to really make me 'need' one...though I'd take one. I'm into more rifles but less different calibers these days. I loathe the thought of another cartridge in the mix....but I'd personally take a 25-06 or some 7mm, over a 6.5....just my desires, though. A 100-115gr LRAB in 25, might turn some heads.

I like the 110 accubonds myself, they just work at .2506 vellocities, the 100 grainers are only a few fps faster yet the 120s 117s etc loose 100+ so its a perfect compromise for bigger quary with this gun. Small deer and fox the 75s to 90s are great and i do hunt a lot of deer with 87 sierras which technically should be a little fragile for task, but they do punch very nice thank you.

I'd probably like the 110 ABs for all practical purposes, but a .600+ BC LRAB of 120 or so would probably pass it around 400, even if it started 100fps slower. :tu
