up for a set of new treads for my Dodge. Mainly road; but some trail and nasty boat launches too

Leaning heavily towards the Falken Rocky Mountains; which are the same as the Wild Peaks...

Both are good choices, also look at the Hankook dynapro ATM. Great in snow, good in mud, and I have 25k miles on my 285-55-20's and there's well over half of the tread left.

For the price, I'm a big fan of Firestone Destination A/T's. I've had them on my last two trucks and my wife's T4R. They ride well, wear well, and have good traction. Tire rack has your size for just under $200/tire.
