    :l Yeah. I read it in 11th grade. Impressed the heck out of my teacher. It's only about the best novel written in English in the 20th century.....

    Since that b-----d Hemingway came up, I'm going to say "Across the River and Into the Trees" . It's about duck hunting and a whole lot more.
    "Death in the Silent Places" by Capstick is an amazing book about big game hunting.

    "Across the River and Into the Trees" is probably my favorite Hemingway book.

    You ain't really lived until you've read some Faulkner. Start with "The Hamlet" if you really want to cross your eyes.

    If you like "The Killer Angels", find a copy of Shelby Foote's "Shiloh". Very good book.

    It's his most underrated for sure. When I read it the first time, it just smacked me across the face it was so good.
