Is the extra half inch really worth it. I don't really notice the kick when I'm hunting so that's not a big deal to me. Also I'm youth and don't have the money to buy shells, my dad mainly does that and he could care less about the cost. So honestly. When it comes down to the better shell which is it.

I haven't shot 3 1/2"ers in 10 years. In my experience when it comes to waterfowl its not worth it unless your willing to fork out $4-5 a shell for the top shelf stuff.
Wing master HD was freaking deadly..

If your decoying fowl ( feet down), 3" is all you need.....
Who wants to eat shredded meat.................( hamburger) ?

    3" BB = geese
    3" 3's and even 4's = big ducks

Hard for me to say. Never shot one.

Since I shoot a 20, it concerns me not.

I haven't fired a 3.5" shell since 2001. No need unless you shoot outside of 40 yards a lot and even then it's questionable. I haven't even fired a 3" shell for 3 years. 2 3/4" will kill anything, ducks or geese, inside of 40 yards. Dead as can be.
