WoW, now thats impressive. Congrats Spec! That is a unique day for sure!!!
Last sunday my buddy and I were hunting out at los banos, and he shot a banded blue wing drake, his first band, and his first bluewing.
Those are the top 2 on my wish list. Congratulations
Congrats Ray , your a lucky man. l got a drake eur widg,
about a month back, my first. been off the forum for a while,
hunting, & messing with the grandkids. glad every one is
getting along. Head back to the ducks in the am. today.
Happy rest of the season to all
Way to go Ray!!
That's two birds I'd like to be able to cross off my "to do " list.
That is way cool!!!!
You guys wan't a chance at Blues come hunt Utah the first week of Oct (Season opens on the first Saterday) The Blues and Cinnamons are always here by the 10s of thousands in Sept. Most of them are gone when the season starts, but there are enough of them left to make it interesting.
The Euro amazes me, I shot a "Tufted Duck" (hen) this year. What is it with the exotics crusing through.
Hey Ray !
Congrats on the double whammy....I remember when I brought my bluey to ya' a couple of years ago and how you mentioned you had some missed opportunities ect.
A day you'll never forget fo-sho'!!!
Some things are well worth the wait. But, two in the same day? Congratulations!
Spec, you got about 41 years on me, but I also got two firsts in the same day today. Got my first canadian, actually doubled on them. When I retrieved the first one it had a shiny surprise on its leg, my first band! Thanks to the hunter in the blind next to mine for the retrieve on the second bird. Had the two Honks and a widgeon by 7:30 then it died.
