6.5 Beavertail super lite

    Anyone have any reviews on this motor? I just ordered one to put on my mini...would like to hear what you have to say about it.

    They've been making that motor for years. Must be a new marketing ploy calling it the super lite.. A buddy had one on a carstens canvasback. She was no speed demon but would go through dang near anything. I don't think it will plane that mini with much of a load in it.

    May be wrong, post up your impressions..

    Owned one. Good motor. Was on a 13'6" four rivers.

    I've owned one for 15 years. great motor, still running well. Be sure to keep greasing it----every trip! A MUST

    What needs to be greased every time, the shaft? If so, how much? Thanks! mike
