    Good news finally caught my first good size bass. yesterday went out to the pond and caught a few pretty nice bass

    Well we really know how good you Illinois boys pick em'. If the give up a good fight there a good bass even if there half a pound.? Is that ho it goes or is it different.

    well what i caan make out A bass can be good size if its a half a pound :no:noNO A good bass is at least in the 10+" and it was not even really fight the bigest fight whas getting my hook back since he completly swallowed it

    When he hit did you watch your line start goin out to make sure it was a fish before making a hook set? If so alot of the times the will hit and if you let them do that they will just keep swallowing it. So next time if thats what you did. Just real up your slack line and set it or if they hit it with no slack then you know jus set it. ha thts just how i learned..

    I've just been down here in big creek Cali. hanging with my older bro at the lake and river. go a new ink piece. (not waterfowling related.) lol
    but other then that just chilling practicing on the ol' speck call waiting for OWF. :cool:

    The OWF is the Oregon Waterfowl Festival. They have comps, and seminars and a booty bar close by for the adults. One of our hunting buddy's partied with a few avery guys there a few years back and also had the duck commander blow his teal call when he bought it there. Also the have lots of stnds and stuff.
