    Great pics!

    You see any mountain quail this year? I hurt my ankle (still recovering), and quail hunting is still out of the question for me... I really missed my yearly trek into the Sierras...

    Have yet to kill a grouse, but one of these years, I will forgo the mountain quail and try for grouse...

    No MQ sightings....yet. Have not been. Big quail numbers this year. Have not been out though, chasing ducks and geese. But friends have been wearing out the valley quail...
