I'm not much of a dedicated goose hunter but I will try em if they work close enough to the duck decoys... Specks are becoming more common in my area and I will blow a Canadian call at them with some success... But I figure they will finish a lot better with a speck call.

I use a Primo's Honky Tonk for geese and like it as it is easy and effective...

Who makes a decent speck call for under $60 or so?

The Sean Mann white front express will run you about $50 and it’s ok, but... If I were you though, I’d spend about $20 more than your price point and get a Riceland Poly Speck.

I just bought an Echo poly speck call. Sounds good and I think it was only $35

Riceland poly or Delrin. The Delrin call will cost you a few bucks more but the stuff doesn't break and it sounds amazing.

Get a hold of dukkalr and buy one from him. I was in the same boat you are, last year. Keep seeing more and more each year but had never even blown a speck call before. I contacted Rick through the fuge and he told me where to send my money...I believe it was like $25.....I'm thinking I logged into his website (winglockcalls.com) on a Monday night and bought it, and it was in my mailbox Thursday when I got home from work. Good dude and very quick turnaround time. You won't be disappointed!

After I bought 3 others, I settled on the Riceland Spec. Easy to blow and Spec seem to like it!

Best Speck call I have is an old wooden predator call. I believe it's a Lohman.
Sounds great makes a perfect speck yodel.
