I realized one limitation on my Tacoma this weekend - packing my son in there (ext. cab) with clothes, guns, etc. for the weekend, the truck was jam packed. Not an issue with a fullsize F250 ext. cab. fyi.

For those kind of trips a camper shell is awful handy.

Have pondered it. But I need the truck open 99% of the time.

I deal with this dilemma at least weekly. Luckily, I just have a tonneau cover.

I have a 15 Ram Ecodiesel and I would not buy another. Owe 14k on it and I have been actively looking to offload it and get into an 08-10 F-150 or Silverado. May end up just parking it and driving a Ford Focus to work and such.

I take my topper off and can have it back on in 20 min.
Photobucket won't let me upload th pic.

Let's see spent a lot of time in the shop, has electrical quirks, rear window seal failed, lots of rattles, fuel economy not as advertised, coil over suspension in the back feels bad when towing (get airbags if you plan on towing a lot). I would've been money ahead to buy the F-150 with the 5.0 when I was shopping instead of this thing. Talked to a guy at the gas station filling up that is on engine 2 in his. Another guy I know that has one flat loves his so maybe I have a lemon.

But aside from all those things, you love it, right? :dv

I found a 09 Tacoma that would be perfect for me. Waiting to see what kind of deal they will make with the Ecodiesel on trade.
