A few spring pics

    Bill,

    Those are really some great shots. I love the images of the snow coming in. And that last photo of the white-crowned sparrow is beautifully done (excellent composition, color, and sharpness).

    Equipment as follows: Camera is 5D MK III, Lens EF500mm F/4L IS in front of a 1.4X II TC. Manual exposure, 1/250 @ f 11.0, and ISO 400 Thanks all for the interest and the kind words.

    I'm jealous! I've been drooling over the EF400mm f2.8L this past week, as I think about the up coming season. I shoot a 1D Mark III. My biggest lens is a Tamron 70-200mm DI VC and I push its limits constantly.
