I dunno. (obviously), I like all kinds of music. I'm not against listening to radio country, you just need to sort through some of the cookie cutters, and Johnny come lately's. These guys are pretty good......
I like Midland. They got some decent tunes. Heard "Drinking Problem" for the first time when i was in AK. Several folks insinuated I might have had a drinking problem there, and I'd respond to them "It ain't a problem, it's a solution". Most had never heard that song, and thought it was pretty funny. I hit it pretty hard every night at flight tests. Nowhere to go, no vehicle to drive. Might as well get ****ty.
one of my new favorite bands.........
Hadn't heard that one in quite some time.
digging this today.....
Man, the only station that would play stuff like that, Big Head Todd, and other obscurities back when it was new was Z106.7 out of Jackson, MS.
I've been a fan of obscure music since I was about 10 years old. .
St. Louis is blessed with a very good Public radio station ( KDHX), and a decent alt /popular format station (105.7).
