We spent the day hiking a number of coulees and bottoms looking for sharptails and grey partridge. We managed to see four sharpies of which two presented shots. The bonus was a number of little water holes had a few ducks. End of a day hiking 2 sharptails, 7 mallards and a widgeon.

The area we were in had a significant number of owls. Way more than the norm and this may have contributed to not seeing that many sharptails and no grey partridge which is unusual for the spots we were in.
