When a member starts a new thread, the new thread will be displayed at the
    top of the first page.

The thread will move down the page each time another new thread is created.

A thread will move back to the top of the first page when a reply is made on
    that thread.

If more current replies are deleted, the system will place that thread in a
position according to the date and time of the latest remaining reply.

So, if a thread was on the first page, and the most current replies were
deleted, in may position the thread back to page 2, 3, 4, ect, depending
on that date and time of the last remaining reply.

The thread with the photo in question by so many, was never deleted by
the Moderator, only placed on a different page by the forum software.

That being said, if a thread starts going to a negative side, the Moderator
has an option to delete a post in the thread. If the thread gets out-of-hand,
the Moderator has an option to delete or lock the thread.

This can be done do to infractions of the forum guidelines, or a judgement
    call in some cases.

In any case, if you disagree with the method used, there are ways to discuss
this without personal attacks, name calling, and such.

I deleted a few threads this morning and removed a couple avatars.

If the avatars re-appear, or you decide to continue these type destructive
and threatening threads, your posting privileges will be removed.

We try to keep our forums civil. It is not an easy job.

For those members that stayed out of this fracas, Thank You. :tu

BTW: If you post that you killed your deer from a truck window, you will
more than likely catch some flak.

You know what? Just can't see the issue where legal. Should we remove shooting sticks or any type of rest? What about coyotes? Other vermin? I don't hunt deer or anything else by ducks in Texas, but I could care less as long as others follow the rules.

Chester I ask that you do me a favor please. Post up here for everyone to see whether or not I contacted you in any manner in regards to the issues that happened here. There seems to be some confusion that went "Crying to the authorities" and I would like them to see whether I did or not.

I could really care less of what these guys think of me but I sure don't like being accused falsely of doing something I did not do.

Unforutnately, that flak will be opposed by those that know the LAW in their OWN state. Most of us have thick skin....others....well

Avatar issue is fixed. I apologize for your time wasted Chester-TN

I think if you look on the Texas board...ie. Axed Posts...you will see for yourself that some posts were deleted without any basis...they simply didn't agree with the mod of this forum for being "called out"-

This I understand sir, but from a moderator criticizing a legal hunting method? And then deleting posts from those that disagree (two of mine, posted several hours apart- neither involving personal attacks).

Since you're deleting avatars, how about deleting this

Flak is one thing. Most of us can take a litttle flak. Heck we get it all day every day in the Texas Forum.

Insults and accusations of illegal acts is a total other. Your moderator went over his bounds and responsibilities on this one. The problem is that only a select few that managed to read the thread will ever know the truth since the whole thing, including the moderators remarks got deleted.

I have one questioon. If the only thing that got the thread pretty much all deleted but the picture was the remarks by the "Rude" Texas members, then how come the moderators comments are not still there? Hmmmmmmm

In regards to the avators, I completely understand. I apologize for my former sexually suggestive avator. It won't return. I do however believe that should also apply to sexually suggestive signatures. Wouldn't you agree?

I think my point is being missed.........

Though I have a full-time job, I still make time to scan many of the forums.

I do not have time to read every thread or post, it is kind of a hit or miss.
I depend greatly on the Moderators for their help.

If I sense problems on a forum I will spend time trying to get a handle on the
problem, but I do not always get all the facts.

What I do see and take action on are the forum guidelines.

Personal attacks and disruptive / destructive posts by members is my first
priority. State laws, opinions, whether right or wrong, is not of my concern.
The smooth operation of the forums is my concern.

These forums have no shortage of opinions. That is a fact. How these opinions
are expressed is a matter that only the member can control, and hopefully
can be expressed within the guidelines the member agrees to when they
    register.
