Putting a scissor blind on my 14x36 Jon boat. I currently have 4 of the avery real grass type mats attached to the 1"sq plastic fencing about 12 ft long and i have 2 of those.
What I am curious of is do you hang them on the frame w the top on top or the bottom of the mats on top of frame?
I have seen it both ways in some of the videos but just trying to see what are the advantages of either way.
    Thanks

If looping over top bar prior to fastening you,ll get a little flare from the grass mats when you use the bottom as the top. If hooking even with top bar you,ll not get flare and using top at top works as well. Either way you,ll probably have to add something to drape in over your shoot slot to keep puddle ducks from picking you out as they circle.

I don't think it matters either way... but if you put the bottom down, the grass breaks up the bottom of the boat hull better.
