........in Wisconsin - West Allis Training Kennel Club, Big Bend, WI was Saturday the 22nd. The land series was first with decent temperatures and there was a "wonderful" cloud cover. It was pretty "dang" nice for the middle of July. In the afternoon, the sun came out. It was still not too warm and with a good breeze the water series was tolerable. :yes

Thirty-eight dogs to run and an hour drive home made it one of the easier tests to attend.

The weather looks pleasant. It has been nasty down here. Glad you enjoyed it. I need to move to a cooler climate.

Pounce will not be running any more hunt tests this summer. It is time to build a new boat blind and catch-up on real "yard work"
(lawn and weeds). Then there is fishing (time for that now). Later this summer, the Mississippi River near Savanna, Illinois will
require extra "scouting" to find the changes made by spring (and summer) flooding. It is no fun running up on a sand bar (in
the dark) that wasn't there last year. :scratch

I did have time to take a photo of Pounce with her Senior Ribbons. :sp

    p.s. smoked porkbutt is tempting

Now that "testing" (for this year) is over, I am really looking forward to this:
