It is still legal, although they are pushing to have it shut down. Right now I think its a 6 day permit you can buy to freelance. Not sure if the government will ever shut it down or not, but still good to go for 2007 from all reports I've heard...

I would swap you Montana huns, sharptails and sage grouse and some pheasants. I have hunted Sask. many times but not Alberta.

Would you be interested in a hunt on the Mississippi? We could do that in the morning and then try and get on some gesse in the afternoon.

I have fields (may be flooded depending on rainfall) but either way the birds will be there. I also have some swamps and some big water diver spots. The diver shooting is done later in the season.

How about Venice Louisiana ducks in the morning and Mississippi River catfish in the afternoon?

How about some 100-200 pound tarpon in the Tarpon capital of the world, Boca Grande Pass? If you got anything left after a couple of those we can get after the hammerheads that follow the tarpon. They go well into the 600-1000 pound range, but I am not geared for those so we would have to stick with the 1-300 pounders.
Might be able to offer a gator hunt if I draw a permit this year (fingers crossed)
