Nice job, gentlemen!!!
Consider yourself blessed- I usually see all those species each season, but not the last, only ringers in the southern peninsula for me, great work! Is that a California or Florida taxidermist?
I definitely feel blessed to get all those species. I did the taxidermy.
Both of those black bellied whistler mounts are beautiful! Awesome job!
Dang! I've been wanting a drake ringer on the wall for three decades now, I should probably try my hand at taxidermy soon. If you ever come to Florida again, I can put you on some ringers for sure!
If I make it back to Florida it'll be for Osceola Turkey, that's if I can ever draw a limited entry permit. As for the Ringers......we got plenty out west, but thanks for the invite.
Did you try those black bellies or just mount them? They are the best eating duck ever.
Yes, I ate all the Black Bellies, the Fulvous and Mottled. They were delicious, especially the Whistlers.
If you also have ringers you are indeed lucky- I am going one more time to try an bag an Osceola this weekend, public wma's are a big challenge.
