Mostly just ignore it. Not all about numbers and show, just like to eat a few ducks now and then and do stuff dad taught us and enjoy life a bit here and there.

He eats more catfish than ducks
No wait...I did the catfish thing with him and LeLand witch did not work out so well.
Now the duckhunt worked out fine.

Remember Howard, you and Leland didn’t have the bait you wanted that night.
To your point, that was not a great night for catfish. :(
Appreciated you and Leland being there it was fun.

last 3 yrs I've used my grandson youth Mossberg 20 in the walkin's IF you can let m work its great low brass 6 at 25yds is super. we hunt late on weekdays only. twice last yr we got in the x as the boys were picking up and they walked to the levee and let us use their decoys 45 min we had our mallards [ the only benefit of being 72] ps they wouldn't here of us helping pick up and one boy pushed our cart to the parking lot. I hear all the horror stories but I think it all comes in the morning when they what the same places.

rism we go in at 10;30 if the ducks r there the good spots r finishing r done. 11/2 is all these old bones can take. hunt my big lake blind first if we kill a bunch we don't go at all. at 73 I've learned how many is not as important as how and who your with. last couple of yrs there are days I don't shoot [unless banded] don't want to eat that many or clean em. luckly I have become the worlds worst shoot it is truly embarrassing but fun. [ I don't think them bennelis shoot straight like my old Mossberg]
