Right? The rest of the country is frozen so you guys must be getting them thick. Sure seems like everywhere north of you is frozen where it hasn't been recently.

My buddies in east central Arkansas shot them over ice last week. Ducks just love Arkansas

The new generation of ducks doesn't know that Louisiana even exists.

I’ve got two words that sum it all up. Short Stopped. If the below zero temps up north didn’t send them this way they ain’t coming. As far as the statistics on waterfowl counted as wintering in Louisiana and harvested in Louisiana they come from a fake universe. In the real world the numbers are much much less.

I have to agree the birds are no longer going very far south. Last week end southern Ohio birds were every where in 50 degree temps standing on the water on top a foot of ice. All were headed north.

Same thing happened last year. 20years ago, this never happened.

Time to stop the flooding of corn fields and that crap will stop hell if it’s illegal to hunt deer over corn there is no difference with corn even thou it’s grown and is still in field the flooding is the problem
