I like this young mans style.
I remember watching the original broadcast about 5? years ago. Very articulate and Piers as usual was weak and ill-prepared. CNN canned him and sent him back to Britain where he belongs.
Hard not to like Ben Shapiro. He typically has logical arguments and/or responses.
A classic example of Pier's attempted appeal to emotional stuff and not so much objective. Of course, some folks are charmed by BS, so I suppose that's why Piers had the job.
Yup, Shapiro is able to run circles around the illogical ones.
I guess we will see, in Berkeley, if free speech is upheld on Sept 14.
My issue with many leftist positions is that they're so ludicrous on their face, that engaging in debate about them is a level of legitimousy they don't deserve. It's like having an argument with someone insisting we should serve poo at school lunches. Why? Just tell the idiot 'no', mean it and enforce it, and move on.
He would have a field day on here.
Neh... I doubt he'd have to even (have to) bring any original content to the place. We just sit and argue over the same 10 subjects all the time.
It's funny you say that. The other day I watched this...It's long but watching it you realize things have not changed much EXCEPT that today there is not this level of respect and professionalism in the debates.
Now, imo you wanna talk about why we are where we are today look to this election.
Perot was the choice. If imo he had been elected in 1992 we would not be where we are today where we can't manufacture crap.
Now watch some of this in comparison to the videos above. Look where we have come. Yes, I support Trump BUT ONLY AS THE LESSER OF THE EVILS presented to me as a voter.
What's astonishing is what this modern debate was even in comparison to 1992.
Ask yourself what the creation of wealth truly is and why manufacturing is important.
I hate socialism but imo Marx said some good things about wealth creation and that's why capitalism is so much better.
The funny thing to me is that as commented above the REAL issues don't change much over time but the candidates and media do. IMO we are in a bad place right now.
Duck numbers suck.
IMO if we had elected Perot and if the govt had not won by threatening to assasinate his family the left right divide we are now in would not be so great...
