I hunted with Annie last Wednesday for her final hunt. This morning I had to have her put down by my good friend and veterinarian, Mike Suda, who has hunted with Annie many times. She had advanced bone cancer plus several other problems. Some of you folks knew her, and even hunted over her. To me it was a privilege having her in my life. She will certainly be missed by me and those who spent time with her. My other dog, Moxie and and Annie were really good buddies. I think Moxie will have a difficult time dealing with her passing.

Here are a couple of pictures that I took of Annie last Wednesday. Her last retrieve was the snow goose, and I will hang a photo of it on the wall of my hunting shack.

I am so sorry for your loss. Been there, done that :(
Took me 3 years to work up the guts to replace my last one.

These always make my eyes water.....sorry for your loss, but I'm glad you had the opportunity to be with such a great dog and hunting companion. I just wish our time with our furry friends would last longer. Take care and my condolences. Warren.
