Dont tell spots, not even areas. That being said anyone noticed any Teal movement yet? I've seen nothing so far.

Nope, water a bit high in the area, must scout elsewhere, they like skinny water. Most of the movement has been by me, sorting out gear, getting ammo, license, and the rest. Right now trying to locate my Thermacell, which is standard and required equipment.:tu

Saw 20 or so in a puddle right beside the Turnpike, 1 mile north of Port St. Lucia.

Ha-ha! Reaper, maybe if you get there early enough on Sep. 17, you can get a couple! This year I will try and be more effective, last season only managed three hunts during teal and bagged 3, I mean I only saw a dozen birds total... regular season= 60 ringers @14 hunts, I mean to improve on that also.

You are right, Goat, I have seen them in good numbers a week before the season and then they were mostly gone due to a sudden rise in water level like we had with the hurricane this past week...I will take a look locally tomorrow but I don't expect to see any, maybe a woodie or two.

Plenty of black-bellied whistlers & mallards - but no teal yet down here in SWFL.

Went out to the "river of grass" this past weekend, plenty of water, looks real ducky, but no ducks.
