I have seen well over a thousand divers off the Santa Monica Bay. Their about 200 yards off the beach so not great for shoiotng without attracting law enforcement. The season of course is a problem sine its well past January unless their a reg I overlooked. It is legal to hunt in California in navigable waters per an appellate court decision. It would be convenient to hunt them close to home if we have good numbers. Anyone here has done so?
