OK.....i know i am going to probably get a lot of different responses but still want to ask. I am looking to purchase a GOOD duck call and wondering which one(s) to consider. I have only been calling a couple years so im still learning the ropes. Basically, I'm looking for an all around call as we hunt all types of terrain (open water, timber, etc.) Looking to spend around $100 and just absolutely dont know where to start looking.:confused:

    Thanks for the help!

I'd reccommend blowing several different calls and seeing what YOU like best.

That being said, RNT is my suggestion for a first call.

I personally like my acrylic winglock double reed. Easy to blow, dont stick and sounds good.:tu

Tim Grounds "Sweet Meat", less than 50 bucks and sounds better than all those high dollar acrylics.

I would suggest buying a Zink PH-2 polycarb with an instructional DVD. I think they retail for about $30. Try it out if you like it then you can always upgrade to one of their acrylics. It is a very ducky easy to blow call.

I fyou've been calling for a couple years I would also suggest going down the road to see what you can be fitted with best.
