The vet I've been taking my dogs to for 20 some years is retiring. He seemed kinda like a dinosaur in his practice and was never overly impressed with him to begin with but my dogs were always healthy and I never needed him for more than shots and occasional doxycycline for Lymes.

Looking for one that knows hunting dogs and well versed in tick diseases. A blonde in her late 20's/ early 30's and nice hooters would be a nice change.

I used to use VCA Pet Care on Sunset Dr in Waukesha. The vet I saw was a hunter and good. But, that was 7 years ago and I forget his name... Johnson maybe?

If you feel like driving up to De Pere you can use De Pere Veterinary, Dr. Jen is not hard on the eyes and falls into your blonde category.

What road kill said. However, my pooches see his father, Jeff. He runs multiple dogs and is a AKC field trial judge. They understand hunting dogs. Well worth the money.

Jeff & Nick are both top notch people and gentlemen.
Both hunters and Fisherman, like us.
Jeff is a Field Trial enthusiast and knows the rigors of competition.

Nick put my dog back together.
He runs as well as ever.

I would trust my dog with either of those 2 men.
    You will not be disappointed.

Agreed on the Schuett's. Won't find a better one around that area. I know Jeff well from the FT world.

So I went and saw Dr Nick last Monday. Very impressed with him and the clinic in general. One of my dogs has had a lump on his lower ribs for a couple weeks. It didn’t bother him and it changed size from day to day, one day small, the next slightly bigger but not alarming. I figured it was an injury or something not real significant such as cancer. Nick determined it was an abscess and prescribed antibiotics. He mentioned it could be a grass awn, which I hadn’t thought of but the fact he did impresses me and exactly what I’m looking for in a vet. The antibiotics are working in reducing the abscess, hopefully it will be the end of it and no grass awn to deal with.

    Thanks for the recommendation!

I agree, Jeff and Nick are great! Pricey but very thorough and know hunting/performance dogs very well
