for 4 days last week. The majority of our fish came in 5 ft. and less. Caught a lot of walleyes, smallies and silvers in the mudlines. Limited 2 days with 5 guys in the boat. Live bait did the trick for us.

Pretty much the same here. 6' to 20'. Fish still shallow so far before it warms up! Pitching jigs with plastic bodies and casting shallow running crankbaits into shore! FUN!:tu Keeping all the smallies big and small!!!! Big females still have eggs in them yet!!!! Don't want them to spawn!:no

    Thanks

It was the opposite here this year, from April until a couple weeks ago it was hard not to limit out on nice fish on Erie this year. Everyone was hammering them.
Best spring-early summer I can remember in a long time.

It's yellowtail. The bottom is ceviche. Pretty simple cut fish into cubes soak in lime and Lemon juice overnight (about 70%lime). Drain then chop red onion tomato cilantro jalape?o and habanero and add to fish. Season with salt, chile powder and garlic powder. Add a healthy drizzle of olive oil and mix up Serve on tostada shells or saltine crackers[IMG]

That's what I made it with. You can do it with striper cod halibut mahi mahi etc
