Any walleye fisherman on here?

    Thanks for the comeback!!! So this will work for freshwater fish also using the lemon and lime mixture? Sure envy you folks when it comes to saltwater fish! Thanks again Coot.:tu

    Yes. It would probably work for walleye and pike, maybe crappie. I wouldn't try it with trout or bass.

    Going to give it a shot!! So your pretty much saying that the lemon and lime juice you put on the fish over night would be a brine for it.

    Kinda. The acidity of the juice cooks the fish. Make sure you drain the juice out of the fish before you mix in the other ingredient. I also like to squeeze I. A little fresh juice lime and lemon after everything is mixed.

    My favorite walleye...little swim with potato wedges in a deep skillet filled with peanut oil as hot as I can get it....

    Love to fish for walleye!!!!!! Just got back from Milford KS. Did okay on eyes, but the Wipers were going nuts. It was a blast catching them on topwater. The older I get, the more I enjoy fishing. Anyone do much walleye fishing in October/November?
