Anyone tried the Prairie Storm??

    The regulation is confusing, but WIA's do not require steel shot for upland game, nor does other private land. I believe all Federal land (WPA's, Refuges) requires shot other than lead for upland game and waterfowl. State Land also requires unleaded shot. Anyway, I have been using Prairie Storm 3 inch 6 shot (20 gauge) for pheasants and am very satisfied with the outcome. I try not to stretch the range out too much unless the bird is flying over open ground where the dogs will be sure to see the bird go down and pick it up before it gets to heavy cover again. I have never patterned the load on paper. I use a full choke in my 870 Express and apparently, it patterns well!!
