    ( I hate the name)

With the cool weather, I'm finally getting ready to go chase deer. I started shooting broadheads only during practice and was shocked to find that I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with the fixed blades I have.

I have 3 GR that shoot just like my target points, but I'm wondering how they really perform on game.

Why should I tune my bow when it's shooting dead on with practice tips and the grim reaper head?

Besides, I wouldn't know which way to adjust. My other broadheads are all over the place.

The question was, has anyone used grim reaper broadheads?

No, I don't use mechanicals. Mechanicals were invented for folks who don't or won't tune their bow. I use fixed broad heads and tune my bow to get them to fly with my field points. Good luck man.

    Thanks for all your "help".

This was a thread about new broadheads. Start your own "tune your bow thread" why don't ya?

  9. I bought some Trophy Ridge Hammerheads. 100g 2" cut diameter. I'll let you know how they do in the spring. After the bad reviews of the NAP I decided to go somewhere else.

I got my first deer yesterday with a bow in over 10 years. The doe was almost right under my stand. The GR took out both lungs and was stopped by the sternum. It went about 50 yds and I heard it fall in less than a minute.[IMG]
