    Apart from a lone woodie last weekend, not much to talk about, just hoping there have been sightings of our fall-winter visitiors, I always have hope but it is real good to hear of peninsular sightings from the brethren.:tu

    Saw a flight of Scoters Wednesday.....

    Ringers in retention ponds....

    Mottled ducks...EVERYWHERE...

    Well, thank you gentlemen! I'll peruse the local marsh tomorrow- have to try out some equipment and maybe I'll get lucky.

    Was getting off shift yesterday (midnights) and at sunrise I drove past my fav ponds. For teh first time I saw 40 to 50 bluebill and ringers...

    COOTS EVERYWHERE.

    and a few teal. Agree with the above, it was a very good breeding and hatch this year on teh mottled seems like they are everywhere.

    Persistence paid off. I found out my new batch of cork decoys do fine without keels. I also found out newly arrived birds liked them. :D
