i have 12 crow decoys and a couple dozen black painted 24 oz pop bottles
i add motion to the spread with pieces of black trash bags fixed on the bottles and also have 2 black painted flashers that are on poles wires and swivles

i learn more about their habits each time im out

i call to groups of 4 or more any less i stay quiet

singles are very wary but if you stay quiet they generally give you a look but shoot on their first pass thats all your gonna get

wind, clouds or fog really helps
they circle up wind the decoys then commit not at all like ducks in a field so blind placement is very important and i move the blind once i get a couple groups to work

Yeah I have been after crows for a bit and your right about them not working like ducks. I have had my butt handed to me more often than not. I think they are harder than ducks to work into range. They will drive you nuts some days!

Sounds like a blast the laws here in Utah won't allow us to hunt them.
