We are flying to Canada in September and would like to carry an Avian X Blind with us. Should we ship the blind in advance or check it in as additional luggage? What is the best and most inexpensive way to ship? Thanks for your help.

For what it will cost you, you might as well buy one there. Where are you hunting? Perhaps a farmer can store one for you?

Unless you are flying private plane , you will probably be flying into Saskatoon. They have a Cabelas and have a good supply of layout blinds. Circle Drive. Check it out.

Listen to Bang, a guy with lots of sense and experience. Would cost a fortune to ship a layout blind to Canada and could take weeks to get there.

5 minutes from airport. Still a good selection in September so buy your ammo there too. 100 yards from Walmart. Watch for the R turn just after you cross the river as it comes up fast. Saskatoon airport has 909 pre-approval via fax. Use it.
