Avian X mallards Vs GHG XD mallards

    Looking at getting some new mallards this year any opinions on the two?

    GHG colors are better (brighter) and I like them better overall. The Avians are more durable but way too dark. Pick your poison.

    I'm just lightening up the avians that sleeper pose just makes me giddy I also picked up a dozen of the DOA blocks on sale 70 a dozen last year their bright and big ! But I'm not sure the paint will last

    I would take Avians over the XD's every day of the week. Extremely disappointed in the XD's I seen in Cabelas.

    Haven't hunted over the XD's but seen them in Scheels and wasn't impressed by them. Have ran Avian's for a few years now and like them alot as far as realism and durability is concerned.

    I run a mix of the Ax and the GHG. I like to mix them up . Heck, I even kept and run a few Dakotas in there too
    I think the varied positions looks better IMO

    Avian-X or GHG? I'm happy with both of them. Run whichever is cheapest in your area.

    Avians. Mallards, pintails, teal, widg, gads, woodies.
    Very happy.

    I thought the XD were supposed to be super tough? They show them getting ran over dragged around with no issues. I have Avians but was going to get some of the XD but sounds like the videos were BS
